To kick off my summer break, we headed to the beach for a fun and RELAXING week! We went to one of our favorite beaches, Seagrove Beach! It is such a beautiful and quiet place! I am happy to say we did not experience any oil during our stay. However, after leaving, I am sad to think about the next time we head for the beach. We may not find the beautiful beach the way it was when we were last there. I feel helpless in this time of great need.
What can I possibly do to help? The Gulf Coast beaches are so beautiful and hold many memories for me. I have been vacationing there since I was a little girl! It was the place where Josh and I got engaged! My heart is saddened at the thought of the beautiful beaches and wildlife being destroyed.

Where has the time gone?? It has been a very long while since my last posting and now that I am done with this semester of classes, I feel like I can finally catch up on some much needed blogging.
A couple of weeks ago, we celebrated my brother's 34th birthday by playing Putt-Putt and eating at The Fish Market. We had a great time!
Josh and I have also been spending our time helping his Dad at the river. He recently bought a house the river and we have been fixing, painting, and decorating. I can't wait to spend some hot summer days here relaxing!

So.....this week is my Spring Break and let me just say it is wonderful being a teacher! It is times like this that I really appreciate having all of these wonderful holidays and breaks! I did have intentions of getting some things accomplished this week but being that it is Wednesday and half-way through Spring Break, I have not completed all of my tasks! I am not going to stress about it because I have enjoyed relaxing and getting caught up on some MAJOR TV watching! Some of the things I had wanted to do this week were read a fantastic book that I discovered from Kelly's Korner, get caught up on some school work (Master's Degree), clean house - check!, complete a DIY project with Laurie and Tiff, spend time with my wonderful friends, and maybe do a little shopping. It seems as though I have only completed one thing off of that long list! Oh well! The week isn't over yet!
This is the book I have been trying to read this week. I will post more later as I read more!
Here are some pictures of my very clean house! It won't stay like this for long!
