A HoMe for "CaNdLeS"....

Earlier this week, a sweet little dog showed up at our house, scared and weak. I do believe that the Lord knows my love for animals and sent this dog my way. After a long bath, a couple of meals, and two days later, the sweetest lady that works with Josh offered to provide a home for this precious dog! I was overjoyed! She decided to name her "Candles!" As of today, Candles is doing great and has a loving home and mother!

Happy Birthday Dad.....

Today is my Dad's birthday. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a Daddy's girl. I have been from the day I was born. He has always been there for me and has continued to love me unconditionally! There will never be anyone who can replace him or take away from me what he has given. He continue to amazes me at his thoughtful gifts (that often arrive in the mail) and his loving spirit. I love him dearly.

Summer Fever....

With all of the snow and cold weather we've been having, I have found myself reminiscing of last summer. I guess you could say I have "Spring/Summer Fever." I decided to post a few pictures from last summer which include Josh's graduation and the most fabulous vacation ever! We were lucky enough to go on a 7 day cruise to the Caribbean and visited islands such as St. Lucia, Barbados, Antigua, St. Maarten, and Puerto Rico. 

V Day

 Josh and I enjoyed a nice quiet Valentine's Day at home with a wonderful home cooked meal! Josh got a Green Egg for Christmas and he has definitely perfected his steaks. These were the best steaks I have ever eaten! Also, we exchanged "little" Valentine's Day gifts but it seems as though I really made out! What do you get the girl that loves playing Wii? Of course..... Super Mario Bros. and DJ Hero!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow......

Today has been a beautiful and enjoyable day with all of the snow we have gotten! Josh measured the snow in our yard and he says that we got almost 2 inches! It was nice getting out of school early and being able to enjoy the snow with my hubby and puppies! After Josh and I went to lunch at a local BBQ restaurant, we let the dogs play in the snow!

Beginning to Blog.....

It's official! I have finally jumped on the Blog Bandwagon! I cannot wait to begin sharing all of the wonderful memories Josh and I have made and are going to make. By sharing the stories of our life, I hope everyone will get a sense of how blessed we are! We are so lucky to have our health, family, friends, and an amazing God!
